Mandela Obama -  The Respected President Mandela Obama have done so much for the world and will be remembered as one of the greatest men in history.


Mandela Obama  - According to the custom at the time, or perhaps because of the prejudice of the British education system in South Africa, Mandela’s teacher told him that his new name would be Nelson. 

There, the teacher gave him the nickname Nelson, which is part of the usual practice of giving English names to African students.

Hearing the ancient legends about the bravery of his ancestors during the War of Resistance Against Japan, he also dreamed of contributing to his people's struggle for freedom.

His father, Gadla Henry Mphakaniswa, was the leader of the Tembu people, a division of the Kosa nation. 

Nelson Mandela was born on 18 July 1918 to the royal family of a scythe of the Tembu tribe in the South African village of Mwezo, where his father, Gadla Henry Mphakaniswa (c. 1880-1928), was the head.

In 1944, he contributed to the founding of the African National Congress (ANC), the most important South African party aimed at ending the injustice against blacks perpetrated by the National Party, the expression of the white population, Afrikaners.

Action against racial segregation began in 1948 and Mandela was first arrested later in 1952. For 20 years, Mandela has led peaceful and non-violent acts of defiance against the South African government and its racist policies, including the 1952 Challenge Campaign and the 1955 National People's Congress Challenge Campaign. 

Inspired by Gandhi and involved in nonviolent struggle, Mandela nevertheless moved on to armed struggle after a while. 

In 1960, after the murder of unarmed black South Africans by police in Sharpeville and the ANC banning, Nelson Mandela abandoned his nonviolent method and began advocating sabotage against the South African regime.

The ANC, led by Nelson Mandela, won South Africa's first elections in April 1994 on the basis of universal suffrage and was sworn in as the country's first multi-ethnic president on May 10. 

In 1993, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for the peaceful end of apartheid in South Africa after nearly 50 years of white domination and for laying the foundations for democracy.

He was the first African of his kind to be elected in a fully representative democratic poll. 

After his freedom, Nelson Mandela led the ANC in his negotiations with the ruling National Party and various other South African political organizations to end apartheid and create a multiracial government. 

In 1993, Mandela and President de Klerk jointly received the Nobel Peace Prize for their work to end apartheid in South Africa.

In February 1985, South African President P.V. Botha offered to release Mandela, but Mandela refused, stating that the government must first eliminate apartheid. 

On February 2, 1990, 27 years after Mandela was imprisoned, South African President Frederic Willem de Klerk lifted the ANC ban and released Mandela.

When Mandela was in prison, the two met to release him. 

While in captivity, Mandela sent secret messages through his cell on Robben Island to continue his work to end apartheid. 

After his release, Mandela began an international tour to encourage foreign countries to support sanctions against the apartheid South African government.

By the 1999 general elections, Mandela had abandoned active politics. 

All the pain was worth it, however, as 1994 marked the end of apartheid and multiracial election.

In 1991, at the first ANC national conference held in South Africa after the organization was banned in 1960, Mandela was elected president of the ANC, and his longtime friend and colleague Oliver Tambo became the organization's national president. 

This autobiography / biography was written at the time of the award and later published in the Les Prix Nobel / Nobel Lectures / The Nobel Prizes book series. 

In 2009, an abridged version of Mandelas' 1995 autobiography, The Long Way to Freedom, was published for children.

In the same year, the United Nations announced that the day would be celebrated annually as International Nelson Mandela Day. 

In memory of his visit in 1990, a plaque was erected in the Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. 

Mandela has received over 260 awards in his lifetime. , including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize. 

In 1993, Nelson Mandela and Frederic Willem de Klerk were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for their work to peacefully end the apartheid regime and for laying the foundations for a new democratic South Africa.
